Meine Schiffe auf Google Earth hervorheben
You can now choose to highlight your fleet of “My Vessels” on Google Earth. It makes spotting them faster. You can either have your vessels displayed exclusively or emphasized amongst all others. Go to “My vesseltracker” > Data and password > GoogleEarth and take your pick. Do not forget to delete the old vesseltracker kmz entry in Google Earth.
Sie können jetzt Ihre “Meine Schiffe” auf Google Earth hervorheben, dadurch sind sie leichter zu finden. Wählen Sie, ob Sie nur Ihre Schiffe sehen wollen oder ob sie lediglich zwischen allen anderen hervorgehoben werden sollen. Gehen Sie auf “Mein vesseltracker > Daten und Einstellungen > GoogleEarth und treffen Sie Ihre Wahl. Denken Sie daran, in Google Earth den alten vessertracker-kmz-Eintrag zu löschen.
Schiffe auf dem Cockpit verfolgen
All users who are entitled to 24 hour tracks can now also evoke them on the cockpit; hitherto tracks could only be seen on the vessel pages. When you click on a vessel symbol on the cockpit there is now a new option “show track” on the pop-up box. A red line depicts a vessel’s path and black dots are set in 30 minutes intervals. Tracks stay on the screen until you click on “hide track” or close the respective vessel information box. You can display any number of tracks simultaniously.
Alle Nutzer, die 24 Stunden-Tracks aufrufen können haben jetzt die Möglichkeit, dies auch auf dem Cockpit zu tun – bislang ging das nur auf den Schiffsinformationsseiten. Wenn man auf dem Cockpit auf ein Schiffssymbol klickt gibt es auf der Pop-Up-Info jetzt die zusätzliche Wahl “show track”. Eine rote Linie zeigt den Weg des Schiffes auf und schwarze Punkte werden alle 30 Minuten des Weges gesetzt. Die Informationen bleiben solange bestehen, bis Sie die zugehörige Infobox schließen oder auf “hide track” klicken. Sie können auch mehrere Tracks gleichzeitig aufrufen.

Yanbu in Saudi-Arabien sendet
Saudi Arabia’s second most important port is Yanbu and it is now a vesseltracker.com port. On the cockpit image below you can see that many large container and bulk vessels are in the vicinity of the port. Needless to say we also have the country’s most important port Jeddah and a few others on board.
Saudi-Arabiens zweitwichtigster Hafen ist Yanbu und jetzt ist er auch bei uns vertreten. Sehen Sie auf der Cockpitabbildung unten wieviele große Containerschiffe und Bulker für Rohöl und petrochemische Produkte im Hafenbereich fahren und liegen. Übrigens: den wichtigsten saudischen Hafen Dschidda oder Jeddah und einige weitere haben wir natürlich auch an Bord.
Trondheim in Norwegen sendet
Trondheim is the third largest city of Norway; it requires a mere 170’000 inhabitants for that ranking. Anyway, Trondheim is a valuable step in our aim to cover the entire coast. Not an easy task though, considering that the coast it about 2’850 kilometres long and including all fjords, islands etc. a sizeable 80’000 kilometres. We are at it and: Welcome Trondheim!
Es braucht gerade einmal 170.000 Einwohner, um Norwegens drittgrößte Stadt zu sein. Dennoch, Trondheim ist eine wichtige Etappe auf unserem Weg zur Abdeckung ganz Norwegens. Keine einfache Aufgabe, wenn man bedenkt, dass die norwegische Küste 2.650 Kilometer lang ist und mit allen Fjorden, Inseln usw. satte 80.000. Wir bleiben dran.
